Join Mavie and Help Shape the Future of Healthcare

At Mavie, we’re on a mission to transform healthcare by delivering holistic solutions that support people throughout their entire well-being journey, helping them stay healthy and get healthier. In just a few years, we have grown from a venture inside UNIQA into a multi-entity healthcare group spanning corporate health, home care, private hospitals and clinics, telemedicine, at-home diagnostics and new ventures across Austria, Germany and CEE.

Your mission

Our next step is to bring greater alignment, structure and collaboration across the Group, without losing the entrepreneurial spirit and agility of our individual businesses.

As Head of People, Culture & Organisation, you will be a builder and transformation leader with a Group-wide mandate, shaping how Mavie works in practice – from operating models and organizational structures to culture and leadership.
Our businesses operate in very different environments, from tech-driven startups to regulated clinical and decentralized care businesses. The challenge is therefore not to apply one model everywhere, but to find the right balance between Group alignment and scalability and the flexibility each business needs to succeed.

What You’ll Do

People & Culture Strategy and Target Operating Model
  • Translate Mavie’s business ambitions into a clear, prioritized Group People & Culture strategy.
  • Design the P&C Target Operating Model, defining what is led centrally, what is shared, and what remains close to each business and market.
  • Build a scalable, efficient and data-driven P&C function with consistent processes, standards and governance, working closely with the local HR teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Group leadership team and business leaders on strategic people and organizational topics.
Organisational Design & Ways of Working
  • Partner with leadership to evolve ways of working and governance in line with business strategy and Mavie’s shift towards sustainable profitability.
  • Strengthen collaboration and synergies across businesses, including shared capabilities and cross-entity career opportunities

Culture, Leadership, Talent & Performance

  • Build a stronger Mavie identity, fostering connection, collaboration and belonging across the Group while preserving the strengths and distinct identities of individual organizations.
  • Drive leadership development, talent reviews and succession planning to build the capabilities and leadership bench needed for Mavie’s next phase.
  • Establish a common approach to performance management and talent development, enabling internal mobility and cross-entity career opportunities across the Group.
  • Define and track relevant P&C KPIs to measure impact, identify opportunities for improvement and continuously enhance the Group-wide people model.
M&A & Integration
  • Contribute to acquisitions and integrations where relevant, providing people, culture and organizational expertise.
  • Support the integration of new businesses through practical guidance on leadership alignment, key talent, communication and cultural fit, while preserving what makes each business successful.

Your profile

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in People & Culture, HR, organizational development or transformation, ideally across complex, multi-entity environments.
  • Proven scale-up experience, having helped organizations evolve from entrepreneurial, fast-growing environments towards greater structure, scalability and professionalization without losing agility.
  • Strong track record in organizational design, operating models and organizational transformation, translating business strategy into practical structures and ways of working.
  • Experience in culture and leadership development, including performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Strong experience partnering with senior executives and business leaders as a strategic sparring partner, with the ability to influence and challenge at Group level.
  • Ability to balance Group-wide alignment with business-specific needs, particularly across different operating models, markets and professional environments.
  • Strong change management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to create alignment across diverse businesses and teams.
  • M&A or organizational integration experience is an advantage
  • A hands-on, pragmatic, and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to move between strategic thinking and execution.
  • Experience in healthcare, technology, care or another regulated and/or people-intensive environment is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German; additional CEE languages are a plus.
